The Pixie

Yes the pixie is back ! It is not a new haircut. It has been around for decades. Vidal Sassoon brought it back in a big way in the 60’s by cutting Mia Farrows hair off for the movie Rosemary’s Baby. Twiggy, the biggest model for 60’s fashion wore it well and crossed over from modeling to movies. Every few years it comes back with a new twist. Below is a photo of Mia Farrow wearing the pixie circa 1968, and Michelle Williams wearing the same cut today. Fashion goes in circles and comes back with a twist every few years.
