Fun Hair Color: Loving my Gingers
As a long time colorist I do have my preferences and likes with the artistic freedom I get with some some clients. My personal favorites are reds. Red comes in many tonal values. There are the blue reds, think ruby. There are your copper reds. And there are various shades in between. All in all every color lines has a dozen or so reds on in their swatch book. My personal favorite technique when using a darker red base with copper highlights. It makes your look much more dimensional, or dare I say high fashion?
I have noticed the women who sport these fabulous reds are extremely confident. They want to stand out in a crowd. Subtle isn’t an option.
For most women who may experiment with red, do consult a colorist to help you decide on a shade that suits you the best and works with your skin tone. It is self expression.
