Get Your Ash Here
Embracing your grey
Today’s hottest trend is ash blonde. There are dozens of shades included in this wide category. First there is Platinum, the lightest shade possible. Years ago they were called a double process. Think Marilyn Monroe. There are darker ash blondes that look more natural. Then there are an entire range of smoky violet ash blondes, think Kelly Osbourn. Finally there is the grey family.
Ash blondes can be subtle or very high fashion. You can mix and apply these shades in a variety ways. Do bring an inspirational photo with you to the salon. There are so many looks in this category that we will need to narrow it to the exact color family or shades you desire.
These looks are hard to achieve with natural virgin hair. If you have prior color in your hair then these shades become elusive, hard to achieve and in some cases impossible without the threat of damage to your hair. I have always loved an ash blonde but they were not always in vogue. Right now they are Hot,Hot, Hot….. Do I enjoy these shades? You bet your ash I do. I have included some examples below. Enjoy!
